Staff was hostile to me when I came in seeking information on the gym and wouldn’t even let me purchase a day pass to try it out. My gym was affected by the floods, forcing it to close. It doesn’t feel like an inclusive environment. “All are welcome” sign is prominently displayed out front but their actions suggest otherwise. Very disappointing to see how they treat vulnerable folks that aren’t part of their community.

I attend Sound Baths with Sekhem Institute for Holistic Healing in the therapeutic pool. Sometimes I float in the water, other times I am on a mat to stay dry. Staff at the JCC are always nice when checking you in.

The JCC is such an inclusive space and I absolutely love the welcome desk! Being greeted with a smile every time I visit is such a small, but caring gesture.

It's a Sleepy gym no real energy being conducted at this establishment. They have some equipment and upgraded it recently but got rid of a lot of the good equipment. If your looking for a family experience or classes then the whole facility is for you. If you want a gym I suggest go elsewhere quick.

We visited the JCC Aquatic center for the first time to attend a 2 hour dog dip event. I didn’t get to see the entire center but the aquatic center itself was massive. The water was well maintained and there were pools of different heights starting from 1 all the way to 6 feet. It does look like it gets very busy in summer with all the classes. We had a great time at the center and enjoyed the expansive area which gave us ample privacy as well as a good time for interaction with other guests. I will definitely check out membership and prices for the next season!
